The Chapter Officer Reference Guide provides guidance, instruction and ideas to support a successful biennium.
From the International World Understanding Committee Karen Evans, Gulf World Understanding Chairman NOW is the time to begin submitting applications for the “Making a Better World Initiative”. This is an annual recognition program designed to promote and recognize Alpha Delta Kappa members, chapters, states, provinces or nations for outstanding contributions to cross-cultural learning and relationships that will increase awareness of and involvement in global and local issues. We know that all of our chapters support outstanding projects, and we encourage you to submit an application for recognition of your efforts to make a difference in the lives of others locally and around the world. The application process goes live on the International Website on January 1, 2025, but you may view past entries and begin to plan your entry by visiting the WU landing page: This page will also give you the complete guidelines for the project and a sample application form for your convenience. The deadline for submissions is March 1, 2025. https://www.alphadeltakappa.org/ADK/ADKMembers/Foundation/WorldUnders tanding/WorldUnderstanding.aspx In keeping with Alpha Delta Kappa altruistic guidelines, projects affiliated with religious or political organizations are not eligible for consideration. Please consider submitting an entry this year. We look forward to reading your submission. If you have any questions you may contact headquarters.
